What the Calculator Does With Your Inputs

Every calculation on WasPetInsuranceWorthIt.com runs in your browser. When you enter your pet's species, breed, age, spending range, incident history, and insurance status, those values stay on your device and the math is performed there. Your inputs and your result are not transmitted to us, not stored by us, and not logged by us. Pressing "Calculate" makes no request to our server, there is no optional upload or contribution step, and there is no database behind the calculator. Nothing is saved between visits — closing or refreshing the page clears everything you entered.

We do not ask for and do not receive your name, email address, postal address, phone number, IP address, or your pet's name in connection with the calculator. Because nothing is sent, there is nothing for us to connect back to you.

Server Logs

Like any website, this site is served by a hosting provider (Cloudflare). When your browser requests a page, the hosting provider's infrastructure may record standard request information such as the page requested, the time of the request, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary web-server logging, it is handled by the hosting provider under its own privacy policy, and it does not include anything you type into the calculator. We do not use these logs to identify or profile individual visitors.

No Accounts, No Mailing Lists

There are no user accounts on this site. There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter, and no marketing list. We have no visitor data to sell, rent, or share with insurance companies, brokers, lead generators, or any other third party, and we do not do so.

Cookies Set By This Site

This site sets no first-party cookies of its own. It does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or visitor-tracking service, and it does not use localStorage or similar browser storage to remember you between visits.

Google AdSense

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google is a third party and may set its own cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites — this is separate from the statement above, which covers only cookies set by us. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings . Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by its Privacy Policy . We do not receive the data Google collects through those cookies, and because your calculator inputs never leave your browser, they cannot be shared with Google or any advertiser.

Changes to This Policy

If the site's behaviour changes — for example, if we add a feature that collects something not listed above — this page will be updated to describe it before that feature ships, and the "last updated" date at the top will change.
